Behavioural Science Centre (BSC)
We also have on campus the Behavioural Science Centre (BSC), an NGO committed to social justice and empowerment of women and other marginalised groups. The college interfaces with the BSC and organises legal courses for select groups of students through the year. This institution also runs one of our COP courses (Rural development). In collaboration with the college it runs the MSW program of IGNOU and a Certificate course in Human Rights.
In times of natural calamities and other tragedies, Xavier’s College has also been part of the BSC’s efforts in networking with other NGOs to set up ‘Citizen’s Initiatives’ to bring relief to the affected.
