Value Education Programme
VALUE EDUCATION PROGRAMME: The value education programme consists of a variety of activities: group discussions, role-plays, poster-making, multi-media shows ... all of which focus on interesting topics that create in the participants an awareness of, and a respect for, human values and enrich their personality. Occasionally staff members may invite professionals to conduct these programmes. All first year students are obliged to attend the weekly value education programme regularly. |

| Every Saturday, after lectures/practicals the students are given an opportunity to organize and participate in a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like public speaking, panel discussions, quizzes, various competitions, dumb charades, just-a-minute, etc. etc. Culfest, garba night, annual day celebrations are held annually. They offer scope for students to display their talents in varied fields. Students are encouraged to organize class socials, picnics, entertainment programmes ..... They are also urged to contribute essays, reports, poems, paintings, etc. to the student wall paper, spread out on boards outside the ladies’ lounge. These student boards are an interesting forum for exchanging news and views of college life. |
