Computer courses are offered in both Arts and Science. Students who take the course in the FY are obliged to continue in the SY.

Important:

The Principal reserves the right to withdraw any course should the number of students not warrant its continuance.
In certain courses only a limited number of students can be accommodated. Students seeking re-admission to the college may not be granted admission to the course of their choice where numbers are limited.
Medium of Instruction

At St. Xavier’s College the medium of instruction is both Gujarati and English. Admission to the English medium is reserved for students whose school education has been through English. However, those who can satisfy the Principal that they can pursue their studies profitably through English, may be granted admission on condition that they show significant progress in class-work and tests during the first term. The Principal reserves the right to transfer at any time to the Gujarati medium students who cannot follow instruction through English.

Note: English is the only medium of instruction in Science, except at the FYBSc. Statistical Methods at FYBA and SYBA, Mathematical Economics at SYBA, Econometrics at TYBA are also taught only in Enghish.
